This is the fic I would use to soothe myself. It’s meaningful, beautifully written, and pure indulgence. I can’t even really tell you how much I enjoyed this fic. It is definitely the fic you MUST read if you’re a McShep fangirl.

This is one of my fav AUs and I was thrilled to see such a huge addition in the SGA Big Bang. Rodney in this AU is a thrilling version of the man he could’ve been if he’d given himself over to his music instead of physics. This is 2 Thumbs WAY Up.

This is the best NCIS AU I’ve ever read. It’s smart, plotty, but it has very dark themes. Angst ahead but the relationship between Tony and Gibbs thrilled me by the end.

Why You Should Read This:
Because you can’t not read it. It’s one of those series in the fandom that MUST be read. It does have a heavy BDSM theme and it does have some disturbing themes. I love the hell out of it. I listed them in the order that I read them and I’m almost positive that’s the chronological order as well. I think “Coming Home” was written after “The General and Dr. Sheppard” as a prequel.

CAUTION: These fics are HUGE. They’ll eat your brain.

Why You Should Read This:

Well, few people do McShep better than Cephalopod. I bounced in my seat like a little kid when I saw the new story. It’s great– angsty, John-centric, and just utterly delicious. The plot is sound, the aliens aren’t all out to kill them, and the premise is just fantastic. The writers of the show just wish they were this slick.
