Why You Should Read This: An interesting insight to the culture of the Wizarding World and how things are to be done there.  I found the fact that Snape shows how charming, witty and nice as opposed to his preferred front very interesting.

Dumbledore’s Folly by DementorDelta

Title: Dumbledore’s Folly or here
Author: DementorDelta (for older fics), Newer ones on AO3
Fandom: Harry Potter
Relationships: Snape/Harry
Rating: NC-17
Genre: Romance, Drama, Hurt/Comfort, Ignores Epilogue, Post-War
Word Count: 49, 289

Summary: Snape Courts Harry

Why you should read this: Several years after the war, Dumbledore has died peacefully in his sleep. But Dumbledore wouldn’t be who he is if he didn’t meddle in others’ lives even after death. In his will, he bequeaths his ancestral home to both Harry and Severus providing that if they can’t decide what to do with the house, the one that wants to sell the house has to court the one that want to keep it. Obviously, they disagree and so begins a beautifully poignant courtship full of missteps, fluff and ultimately, a happy ending.

This was one of my first forays into the Snarry fandom many years ago and till now, it has remained one of my favorites. Snape and Harry here are older but they are still in character and though some animosity has remained, they have matured enough to get along for the sake of the house. It is a sweet, sweet story that won’t fail to make you smile. It’s about falling in love without realizing you fell.

Occam’s Razor by RaeWhit

Title:   Occam’s Razor
Author:  RaeWhit
Fandom:  Harry Potter
Pairing:  Harry/Draco, Harry/Severus
Rating:  NC-17
Warnings: Fairly smutty (like that’s a warning!)
Genre: Romance, First time, Mystery
Word Count:  91,544

Summary:

Two years after the end of the war, only desperation could make Harry seek out the help of a one-time enemy.

Why You Should Read This:

After the war is over, Harry hangs around Hogwarts as the caretaker. He finds a mystery related to the death of Severus Snape – like, why hasn’t Snape inhabited his portrait yet? — and needs help to solve it. Unfortunately, Harry’s best option is Draco Malfoy.

Two lonely men work together to solve the mystery, and, ahem, find a way to get to know each other better. But the solution to the mystery is satisfying.

There’s smut, voyeurism and well written romance here.
