Word Count: 7,783

Summary: I am trying to memorize his face. I don’t know what I’m going to say until I hear it emerge. “I really thought I’d be spending the rest of my life with you,” I say.

Why You Should Read This:
Because it made me cry. It’s written in first person and the story is gorgeous and heart breaking and Watson’s pain resonates with every word. It’s a very powerful and moving read that broke me a little in the way that excellent writing always does.
